The band was in great form! The sound quality was awesome. Gary and the guys were having a great time, laughing and joking with the crowd. A couple of times Gary and Geoff got the giggles. Hard to believe Gary can still hit the high notes and sing with such strength. Matthew even smiled a couple of times when the crowd roared acknowledgement for Repent, Weissel and AWSOP.

The Birchmere holds about 500 people and there were very few empty seats. It was, shall we say, a mature crowd, but enthusiastic. After the show the guys had a bite then came out to a table to sign autographs. The line that waited for them was at least 100 long! Is this unusual? Gary seemed a bit blown away by how many were waiting. I got to shake Gary's and Matthew's hands and I had them sign the sleeve of my old Salty Dog t-shirt. I gave them the right sleeve since Robin had already signed the left one . . . now I just need Keith to sign it . . . my buddy got lots of pictures of the signing (which I will forward for posting to BtP if you like) but not much from the concert. We were too far back and there were signs asking for no pictures . . . oh, I made 100 photocopies of the home page for BtP and put them on the
merchandise table next to TWOF and the t-shirts . . . not many were left at the end . . .

I can't imagine how I can top this concert . . .
