Procol Harum at Copenhagen, Denmark

Amager Bio, 6 November 2003

These pictures kindly sent to BtP by Bųje Arenholt Jeppesen, who writes:

'The concert was simply magnificent; the audience seemed like a capacity crowd, and the boys were playing tight and groovy as ever. Especially Whaling Stories blew the roof of the house. (Perhaps the best version I've heard so far!)

'Super, super, super ! Sometimes I wonder if the current line-up has in fact more commercial potential than the previous ones. Couple of months ago, I heard Gary say: "It“s pay-back time for Procol!" I think the man is right. Actually, it seems as if our heroes are claiming their rightful success at last, riding a wave of increasing interest from both old and new fans.

'So nice to be around these days!'

Mark, with a foreground of guitars

Unusual angle, classic Whitehorn pose.

Very typical pose from Matthew too

The band lit in reds and oranges

Procol in action, seen across the head of a goodly crowd

More from this author here ... and he of course may be heard playing and singing two Procol tracks on the Whalers' CD
