Anthony Pepitone writes to BtP (June 2003) with these excellent portraits of eighty percent of the onstage Procol

I hadn't seen Brooker and Fisher together since the days of the Fillmore East and was pleased to discover that their musical abilities were still quite potent (not to mention Keith Reid's lyric writing skills). Brooker's voice was in top form and it was a great treat seeing and hearing them at an intimate venue like the Bottom Line. The more recent members, of course, were most well equipped talent-wise in helping Gary and Matthew to weave that old Procol Harum magic spell.
