Palers' Party at Bloomsbury, 6 March 2005

Pictures from Jill McMahon

'Beyond the Pale' organised a get-together for fans before the show in the very building where the gig was to be held.
Here, before the bar, Jens welcomes the masses ... fastened to the mirror (it's a dance studio) is a large screen for video-projection.

No Palers' Band on this occasion, rather a free-form jam and singsong ... nice Yamaha upright for anyone to play who wanted to, without prior arrangement.

Ian Hockley kicks off with Nothing But the Truth ... everyone's looking towards the wall where the words are projected

Alan Garmonsway on guitar, Roland from BtP on bass

Twelve-string guitar (thanks, Alan) and video-projector (thanks, Peter)

Geoff was as always very chatty and friendly with the fans, but not a single hint did he drop
about the astonishing set that we were to hear from Procol Harum that evening!
