Procol and Palers at Lejre (2)

Hermann Braunschmidt's pictures, 18 August 2006

The best-prepared Palers had brought their own seating to the dress-rehearsal.
These specimens had also brought their own music, by the look of it.

Others took advantage of the Danish greensward for a quick snooze

Graham Ewins was, as ever, responsible for impeccable FOH sound

Palers were present by the Band's special invitation; these small children are presumably associated
with the technical staff of the show. Top, centre, Franky Brooker

Thomas Raa Olsen and Karsten Overgaard, centre: also showing, the world's youngest Hammond player!

Geoff makes his guitar ready. Hammond adjustments are almost complete.
Are those two unoccupied Wagner tubas, perhaps?

Close-up Gary's hands on the Roland P109 – a posh little piano

Chuck looks on. The very tiny Hammond player has now disappeared ...

After an uncertain week, the weather is perfect
