Antenne Bayern Classic Rock Star Tour

Gary Brooker to sing Procol Harum tunes in September 2010

Press release:

Germany's biggest private radio station – Antenne Bayern – presents the summer highlight 2010: The ANTENNE BAYERN Classic Rock Star Tour. A unique concert with a fabulous band. The best musicians of legendary rock bands have come together for the first time - united on one stage. Only this summer, only in Bavaria!

Six legends, one band: Gary Brooker from Procol Harum and Chris Thompson, formerly the singer of Manfred Mann´s Earth Band, will make the audience go wild with their powerful rock voices.

They will be supported by Martin Barre from Jethro Tull, one of the best rock guitarists of all time, by Frank Mead (Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings) on the saxophone, Henry Spinetti (Eric Clapton band) on the drums and Dave Pegg (Fairport Convention / Jethro Tull) on the bass.

Peggy says "We will be playing some of our fave Procol, Tull and Manfred Mann songs and some iconic tracks which influenced our playing when we were teenagers all those years ago. It's going to be very interesting."

This all-star band combines the experience and passion of 30 [sic!] years of rock history!
