It's three whole years since Gary Brooker's "other" band, the fab No Stiletto Shoes, has played its Christmas shows, which have a wonderful atmosphere and feature fantastic R&B playing! No longer able to use the habitual venue near his home in Surrey, Gary has agreed to play two gigs at the Riga Music Bar in Southend-on-Sea.

Public booking opened on 1 October, and there are a few tickets remaining

Riga Steve tells us that he has recently installed a fine new PA system, so that the small, intimate club sounds even better than ever!

Doors open at 8.30 on Saturday 11 December and 8.00 on Sunday 12 December. Tickets are 20 GBP per head.

The line-up will be Paul Beavis, drums; Dave Bronze, bass and vocal; Gary Brooker, voice and piano; Andy Fairweather Low, guitar and vocal, Frank Mead, saxes etc.
