Leo Hansen adds: 'Gary started to sing the second verse of Conquistador twice. He missed one stanza completely, then recovered to sing “You did not conquer only die.” That said, his voice was great, and there no signs of his “jousting” (Geoff’s description) in Cape Town. Not bad for what he went through. I was expecting the show to be cancelled.' |
