Procol prolepsis from Coolibri by Jörg Degenkolb

The Wuppertal Convention – 'Echoes in the Night' – is a collaboration between the BtP team and Wuppertal's Michael Ackermann, supremo of 'Whaling Stories', the international Gary Brooker fan-club. Among his myriad administrative and creative tasks Michael found time to brief Coolibri about all the Procol Harum activity in Wuppertal this coming April, and below is the publication's report, from their March 2013 edition. Michael explains, 'In the smaller headline they write that the two Procol Harum concerts are completely sold out, but that there are still tickets for BtP's Pre- and Aftershow-Parties. Within the text itself, at the end, it says,  "After the concert on 5 April you can visit an Aftershow Party at Rossini [venue for our Posh Buffet Reception]. In the afternoon of 6 April there a Pre-Show Party is on offer at Live Club Barmen, after which shuttle 'buses will take you to the Stadthalle for the Procol Harum concert, and back from there again to LCB for the Aftershow party. There are plenty of Fan-Club members, and friends of the promoter, but there are also around 35 musicians from around the world, who will have done a week's rehearsal already in Wuppertal, to play and jam together at that very event. And perhaps Gary Brooker will take the opportunity too ... .
