Paul McCartney, Linda, and AWSoP

Procol reference in The Beatles Anthology

Paul McCartney:
Then I said: 'We want to go to a club called The Speakeasy. Would you like to come with us?' If she (Linda) had said 'No', we would never have got married. But she answered, 'Yes, why not?'. So we went to the Speakeasy and there we heard for the first time the song A Whiter Shade of Pale. We all thought it was from Steve Winwood. But as we got to know later, this song was from a group with a very strange name – Procol Harum.

Thanks Hans Volkhardt for finding and translating this
