Like the Roller Coaster in their home town …

Oddly unflattering pictures of the boys adorn the left margin, one atop the other in fashion of the time. Typographically the headline is interesting, but the lettering across the picture seems uncommonly amateurish! It's hard to know how accurate the text is, considering that it claims that they have 'confined themselves to the lower regions of this island' when we know that they have just come back from Scotland. As this article states that the group - in this line-up - has been together only seven months, the magazine has to be from March 1964. Probably
(judging by the lettering) it was published in Fabulous (a weekly).

The former jobs: as in many articles a mention is made of their former jobs I made the following list

• Rob: window cleaner, trainee printer, and manager of a cellar club (The Shades)
• Diz: radio technician (according to Boyfriend) or Alexandra Park Technician at the BBC (according to Pop Weekly) and civil servant
• Barrie: office messenger, printer's assistant, factory worker (John Temple's suit factory)
