Procol Harum Live
More than a year after the impressive 'Live
at the Union Chapel DVD, the fans of this classic rock band can
make their collection more complete with this DVD.
"Procol Harum Live" is, regarding vision as well as sound, a very solid
and thorough DVD and it offers you a concert recording from December
2001 in Denmark.
The band around singer/pianist Gary Brooker hadn't made a studio-album
for a long time, so they chose a varied selection from their extensive
oeuvre.
The concert lasted 100 minutes and hits like Homburg,
Pandora's Box, A Salty Dog, Conquistador and of course
A Whiter Shade of Pale came by, but also less-known jewels like
Holding On, Fires (Which Burnt Brightly), Grand Hotel
and Wizard Man.
As a bonus you get 38 minutes "Uninhibited", showing the band in their
rehearsal-room and also some songs in complete versions, alternating
with fragments of interviews.
Again a marvellous DVD.
