Christmas quizzes 2000

How to win !

Have a look at the thirteen letters that you have collected [one each for the first eleven days, and two for the last day] while following the trail of links that led to each Question of the Day (Jens and I can now afford to update the BtP search-engine, which you may have been trying to use to find 'Question of the Day'!).

These thirteen letters can be re-arranged to form a single, unique word that occurs ONCE ONLY in the recorded songs of Procol Harum (the Keith Reid search-engine is here). I repeat … use all the letters, to make one perfectly-ordinary thirteen-letter word

Got it?

All that we want from you now (pay attention, people who mildly screwed up last year!!) is the word that comes immediately before the thirteen-letter word in the Procol Harum song.

All you have to do is send BtP that word (the word before the thirteen-letter word!) … by clicking on this link … and we will be waiting to see who gets our fab prizes, one unique, one almost unique …

Include, in your mail, a rank-order for all the prizes (eg 'I like the prizes in this order: G, C, B, F, E, D, A … ', or whatever). 'First in' gets first choice of prize, 'second in' gets their highest choice still available, and so on; and if there aren't enough winners, those who do answer correctly will get more than their fair share of prizes!

Good luck!
