Shine On-line

Editorial

We have been talking to Gary about releasing some of Procol's rare material on CD providing we can get clearance: the first release could be the full version of the Liquorice John Death Sessions. These were recorded with the same line-up as the Shine On video, all ex-Paramounts, Gary, Chris Copping, Robin Trower and Barrie Wilson. This would be made as a limited edition CD, Gazza Records II, and would include the original artwork.

Other possibilities are the much-requested CD of Broken Barricades, and other CDs of rare unreleased material. All this is at its very early stages at present, but by the next issue we should be able to explain more. Don't get too excited at this stage!

Another item of news is that after many years Kellogs has retired as Procol's manager. He has been with Gary since Paramounts days, but his commitments to his own business have become more pressing and we wish him well. Diane has sort of taken over, more as Gary's PA / Publicist, so any questions or correspondence should be addressed to her from now on.

We look forward to meeting up with you at Shepherd's Bush.
