Shadow Boxed

Something Following Me wonderful guitar and organ solos
Simple Sister
Grand Hotel strange crackling noise after first verse; nice backing vocals; Gary playfully runs out of keyboard into tango
Beyond the Pale Josh takes the Hammond back to Chris Copping; if you think a song can get nailed, it happened tonight!
A Salty Dog

A Whiter Shade of Pale (two verses) Josh plays the traditional lines

Massive standing ovation: crowd started chanting Repent as the band  finished taking their bows

Soundcheck notes from One-Eye

Bits of A Salty Dog, testing synth
Bits of The Blink of an Eye, testing piano
A pedal problem being worked on for Geoff
Victims of the Fury piano test

The sound is this room is awesome. One of the best I've heard. Gary played a few chords of Typewriter Torment and turned and smiled at  me. I smiled back as I held up the mobile.

A Rum  Tale, bits
A nothing jam for a minute to check the drum levels.
Grand Hotel
Trick of the Night
The VIP Room
Trick of the Night,  last chorus bridge and verse in French
Now again instrumentally Geoff, Matt and Josh,  then again with Gary and Mark

A little of the Ommm (In Held) from Josh
Gary doodling Toujours and Something Following Me
I don't need no doctor (a verse)
Now for real, very funky blues (a verse)

Not much of a soundcheck for full tunes tonight
