Soundcheck In the Blink of an Eye (Gary Brooker not yet present); Sex and drugs and rock and roll (part); Beethoven's Fifth Symphony (opening only ... Johnny Magner (piano) and Geoff Whitehorn); childlike theme for a small child dancing nearby); some Mozart from Josh's Motif; arrival of Gary Brooker; Strangers in Space (with vocal , complete performance); In the Hall of the Mountain King (fragments); Simple Sister (GW different guitar) ending with a facetious tacked-on twiddle after which GB said it was 'inspired by that great English band, Jethro Tull'; When You're Smiling (part); Piggy Pig Pig (opening only); The Emperor's New Clothes (complete performance, including wasp attack on digital B3, and a nice little new coda); One Eye on the Future (complete performance but no vocal verse one); Blinded by the Light (part); You're the Voice (part); celestial organ chords from end of Robert's Box but played from Gary's piano; TV Ceasar (complete, but words came and went ... superb drums: 'Thanks for joining in, said GB to the crowd')

Very satisfying and exciting show, running from 21:27 to 23:09, under mercifully clear skies to an estimated audience of 1,000+. Good solid sound throughout venue. Geoff Dunn was man-of-the-match, playing a brilliant set despite having just broken his collar-bone: his Conquistador in particular was astonishing. Great variety of material; highly-appreciative crowd (dancing, cheering, waving sparklers). A fine time was had by all.
