The
Jones Gang is a heavy rocking unit named after its drummer Kenney Jones from
The Who
and The Faces. It was one of the stand-out ensembles of the last
Wintershall gig, in a long
line of distinguished warm-ups for the main attraction, Gary Brooker's Band du
Lac.
It's full of great players, not least the organist
... Procol Harum's Josh Phillips

Fine new vocalist James Stapley, with Dave 'Bucket' Colwell (Bad Company) on guitar

Terrific bassist Rick Wills (who has played alongside Mick Grabham, as well as
Peter Frampton,
Foreigner, Small Faces, Roxy Music, Bryan Ferry and David
Gilmour)

Guest guitarist, Mr Ron Wood from the Rolling Stones

Ronnie and James, with a Rock Chick in the background

Rick and Josh again

Stapley and Wood

Incontrovertibly The Jones Gang put on the visual show of the day ... James Stapley is a compulsively-watchable front-man
