Originating on a Brooker solo album

'Show time was 6:30PM EDT and our favorite band took the stage on time, despite a couple of light rain showers around 6:15PM). Could there have been more? Should there have been more? Yes! but then  there was YES!

'I talked to Gary before the show and he insisted he was 'fine.' Honestly, he sounded great, in fact he was fantastic but he looked a bit haggard. My hope is he is fine and feels better and better as this grueling tour progresses. I also spoke with Matt and Geoff W. (very briefly as they prepared to take the stage) and both were in fine form (as you will see from the  photos I will forward soon.)

'All in all, it was a great night. Though I have been a Yes fan since the early 70s and the band we saw tonight certainly captured the essence of Yes (even though they were shut down early because of an  'electrical storm' that never came), Procol Harum's was the better  performance and by all rights they should have been the Feature and not The Very Special Guest.

'As Procol Harum fans we're used to those kind of slights, but if you think I'm giving up on a Procol concert with orchestra and chorus in the US in the not-too-distant future (Chris), you've got another think coming.' (thanks, Bob Young)
