'My wife and I live directly across the street from Atlanta's Woodruff Performing Arts Center, so we were fortunate enough to walk over and see PH tonight!

'Gary Brooker and Geoff Whitehorn bantered back and forth with some political messages and humor, even a mild jab at one of the female CNN anchors who, according to Gary, "sounds like a duck." Geoff got in a poke at Georgia with a riff from Duelling Banjos, but all of the band members were terrific (bassist Matt Pegg, keyboardist Josh Phillips, and drummer Geoff Dunn all performed wonderfully).

'The crowd was small, with a couple of yahooers and yee-hawers, one of whom yelled at Gary, "You can't play the piano!" Gary let this slide, and quipped, "I never could ..." while most of the audience aimed their scowls and growls deservedly at the tone-deaf heckler and not Gary!

'I bought a copy of their autographed CD in the lobby for $20; only $5 more than my double-Bacardi & Coke at the next table!' (thanks, Tim)
