The Unsteady Freddie collection : 2

Procol Harum at the Felt Forum, 1973

Unsteady Freddie writes:
I am supplying for the Procol Harum fans some more intimate photos taken at the Felt Forum in 1973. They have never been published anywhere before! So, of course, they are © Unsteady Freddie, Esq.; feel free to reproduce them, but should they be re-used in any context deemed "commercial", my copyright should be appropriately attached thereon. Understood everybody?

Roll over Chris Copping (look at the image on his shirt!) – taken backstage after the show.

This photo of me and my pal BJ is probably my favorite photograph of all time. Barrie and I were very very close. After Procol Harum disbanded, we spoke a lot on the phone -- he from his home in the hills of Oregon, and me from my humble abode in Manhattan. When he toured with Joe Cocker, we ALWAYS got together before and after the show(s). Barrie also liked to take a nip now and then, hence the bottle in the photo. It should be obvious to the viewer the special love we had for one another. I miss him so damn much!
The Commander after a fabulous show, speaking with a fan of the band. No idea what's in the cup....
Three lads on stage during a performance of Souvenir of London. This was the Grand Hotel tour if my memory serves me well.

Mick the Lad backstage after the show.

Again it's Mick, this time ripping out a tasty solo.

Why is this man smiling? This of course is Keith Reid, who wrote 'words' (not 'lyrics' mind you) for the band. What's so goddamn funny Keith? Let us in on the joke!

Thanks, Freddie; and Beverly for transmitting them to BtP
