We heard a placename sung on the topside of The Beatles’ May 1969
chart-topper, and a writer’s name on the flipside of their 1967 December
single; both those names occur in one Gary Brooker solo track, so please

a hit flipside for Herb Alpert, neither the placename nor the writer’s
name was heard at all). |

Procol co-writer who shares his forename with an organist, and his
surname with a guitarist, who are both listed in some accounts of the
Harum personnel. He also formerly fronted a band whose unusual name
means ‘Arctic Hysteria’. |
