Supertramp's drummer writes to BtP about BJ

In July 1998 'Beyond the Pale' contacted Bob Siebenberg, having unexpectedly found the lovely Barrie Wilson page at his own website. We were delighted to receive this response:

Hello ...

What a pleasure to find the Procol page, which is great by the way. I ordered the video that's available and a tee shirt with the first album artwork. If you know of any other footage available, preferably of Procol, but even of Joe Cocker with BJ playing the drums, I would snap it up in a hurry.

I also enjoyed the interview with Kenny White. [BJ's friend]. Very cool. We still get a Christmas card from Sue with an update of family doings and glad tidings. She's a very nice woman.

But what a trip to find all this information floating out there. Keep it up. I have tremendous respect for the Procol thing.

Please stay in touch, and thanks for referring to me on the page. I stand corrected on the year of BJ's death, if you say so. My family and I went to the funeral, but the year is a little hazy. Anyway, all the best, again stay in touch.
