Thanks, Brian Carey, who comments: 'Terrific lakeside venue with lots of seagulls flying around, daring the band to launch into A Salty Dog. Good chatter from Gary. He commented about 'all the fences' he saw during the drive in from the airport (Toronto hosts the G8/G20 summits next week, and security preparations are underway). The crowd called out for "more!" during the first verse of A Whiter Shade of Pale. Overall, a lovely June evening in Toronto, and a splendid reception for Procol Harum ,who last graced this area in 1993.' |
