Douglas Adams's Front Room Band

This ensemble came together to conclude the London celebrations of the 60th birthday of the celebrated British writer, technophile, conservationist and Procophile Douglas Adams (1952–2001). Their set concluded the four-hour party.

'McIntosh opened the set before being joined by the rest of the band in stages,' according to DigitalSpy.

Brooker (right) 'still has an astonishing voice at 66,' according to Chortle.
