During the Millennium Concert weekend

António Alfaiate's images

At the Convention, Gary selected the winning raffle ticket … some joke here about the number being upside-down.

Clockwise from lower left to right: Silke Eberle, Roland, Rob, Jonas, Gary, and António Alfaiate himself

Gary announces the winning number … we check the backs of our pin-on Convention lapel-badges … and it's Henry Scott-Irvine who wins the Salty Dog tee-shirt, signed by GB+4Ms plus Whitehorn and Mead

Gary reads out Keith Reid's remarkable message to the band at the sound-check.

Very good view of the faux piano

The soundcheck was the first time, I think, that we'd ever seen two guitarists with Procol Harum when there was also an organist playing – is this the way things will go in the new Millennium?.

This picture shows how little room there really was for the orchestra who would fit in behind the band

Mark Brzezicki's bell is clearly visible on top of his kit; heads down as Grabham and Fisher bring home the bacon.

A clutch of sound people and camera persons in the background. Geoff has evidently disappeared by this stage.
